What is the County School Map?
The County Public School Map includes a list of schools by district (click the district to expand the list). Clicking a school will reveal its location on the map. You can then set starting/ending locations and get driving directions between the two.
Where does this information come from?
The list of districts/schools comes from the Ed-Data web site which gets the information from a variety of sources including the individual school districts. The maps, satellite imagery and driving directions are provided by Google Maps.
Why can't I get driving directions to/from some sites?
The locations on the map are specified by latitude and longitude but the driving directions are derived from the street address. Sometimes, especially in rural or new developments, the address cannot be resolved properly.
How can I report incorrect information?
Please email changes, correction and suggestions to Rames Creel, Enterprise Services, San Joaquin County Office of Education.
